This is valuable because you will immediately know if areas were missed saving a call out for further scanning. The other advantage is our 3D scanner does the point cloud data processing plus adds synchronized photos that overlay the point cloud creatinga very useful and accurate image. All this while still in the field which saves a huge amount of data processing and technician time back in the office. The net result is time and cost savings. Through an innovative scan-to-BIM or scan-to- CAD process, the point cloud can then be imported into 3D CAD software allowing design work to take place in full 3D. The resultant process increases visibility and understanding, streamlines the production of key engineering deliverables, decreases site returns, and lowers overall risk and re-work, helping you save time and money.
